    PC upgrade Help

I have a really old PC that in today's stadard is pretty lacking in power.
    My current specs are.

    CPU: i5 3570k
    Mobo: Gigabyte Z77x-D3H
Graphics card: GTX 970 - Recent upgrade from GTX 660ti
Memory: Corsair vengance 8GB low profile 1666Mhz
PSU: Seasonic 620w Power supply Bronze rated
    SSD: 2 256gb SSD
    HDD: 1TB seagate Barracuda
    Case: Aerocool X3 Predator

    I have a budget of £1200. i Have currenlty Purchased a Ryzen 3600 CPU for £139 and a Corsair X465 Case for £104 so i now have £957 left.

What would you recommend I purchase with the remaining amount for my budget?

are you gaming at 1080p? if so, a 5700XT card would be good. B450 or X570 mobo. 16 gb of ddr4 ram, RGB if that floats the boat. power supply should be fine.

sell the old bundle and put towards the funds. RTX 2070 super cards can be had for £450 @ ocuk today. m.2 NVME SSD, maybe 256/512 for windows, other 2 for storage.

or if you tight on budget 5700 non XT and upgrade to XT bios, process is very easy to do just google it. there is ZERO point to take x570 board if you dont plan to buy PCIe x4 nvme, b450 tomahawk max or mortar max will handle everything with ease. Remember Ryzen systems LOVES higher speed RAM and benefits greatly, sweet spot is ddr4 3600mhz ideally CL16 but CL18 will do the job in games as good

best mobo for 3600 -> MSI b450 Tomahawk Max or Mortar Max

RAM -> plenty of good deals under £80 - 3600mhz is a must for Ryzen, I recommend Crucial Ballistix

GPU - rx 5700xt - but its a very tricky to pick one, lost of weak, overheating models on market, I recommend to search for Gigabyte RX5700XT OC (3 fan version), or if you can find cheap (under £380) Powercolor Red Devil or Sapphire Nitro+, stay away from ASUS!!! cheap MSI or ASRock

PSU - to be honest you can reuse yours, it is a decent enough PSU or buy any 650-750w Gold rated (evga or corsair)

Case - for great airflow and look - Phanteks p400a argb or Lian Li Lancool II Mesh, if you got more money Lian Li PC-011

OP - please state use case(s). E.g. Gaming first, video editing second, etc. Also, for things like gaming, we'll need some idea of your intended resolution and the types of games you're playing.

MSI b450 Tomahawk, 3rd Gen AMD CPU and 5700xt will fit your requirements well and at a good price right now.
