I’m thinking the 1660 super...
Thoughts...
This for a child’s pc and not up to speed with mid low range hardware...

I would say a GTX1660 Super,unless there is a deal next weekend on an RX5600XT or RTX2060.
New card I have to agree 1660S seems the way to go. However I have seen on selling sites people getting rid of their 1080s 200-250 which if you don't mind second hand, which I would still go for over a 1660s
Can't go wrong with the 1060 super v solid card
could always spend £100 < on a second hand RX480/580 for 1080p and then wait until mid next year, when the latest range of midrange cards come out and you'll have a lot more options available
RX 5050 or 1660 super excellent video cards for your money on which any game flies
I put a 1660 super in my 15 year old daughter build.
Perfect for a kids machine
1650 super is probably enough, not sure you get much more out of the 1660 super for 1080p
vega 56 is a great 2nd hand option if you can find one around £150-160. Sapphire Pulse model as they have great cooling solution, also 8Gb RAM....
quick look on ebay current price they are being sold for is £200-250
a new 1660 (non super, non Ti) is around £200-220 new
super is around £240-250 new
ti £260-270 new
interesting seeing as the difference between the 1660 and 1660 super is just slightly faster gddr and performance is almost the same yet the current price difference ??
