Scan got a drop of all the FE 30x models on Thursday last week...the comment above me has what I used...the Part Alert discord helped notify me when they dropped and I got on as quick as possible to place my scan order! Good luck in your hunt!

Re: No nvidia or AMD graphics for sale in UK atm ?

Currys had a big selection of cards come in today, but limited numbers, 150 units across 15 different models. Scan are only getting 25 3080s/week. A couple of EU retailers said stock is only getting worse, and 3070s seem to be the only models with any decent numbers at all.

Looks like it's gonna be dead for a while.

some retailers do have the 6800/xt for sale but prices are as high as 900 quid for a 6800xt. MSRP don't exist at this moment so if you are desperate try ebay and FB market place, I found a GB Aorus maste 3070 and Sapphire 6800 at very reasonable prices (still over MSRP ofc) in the past week or so.

Re: No nvidia or AMD graphics for sale in UK atm ?

Were there really as many as 150 units listed on Currys? I saw a few of the alerts, but they instantly go out of stock (as in clicking the link as soon as it's live and being unable to complete checkout before getting a stock error). So either, the quantity isn't strictly true or the site is being botted.

I've noticed Scan's launch updates stating that they occasionally only expect 25 units of 3080s cards in a week, however their pre-order queue has dropped by nearly a 100 in the past few days alone, so either they're getting more than they're stating or plenty of people have been cancelling their pre-orders (which seems farfetched considering they would have been waiting months to get to this point, only to cancel).

Currys listed a lot of cards then when you go to checkout you find they aren't available for delivery

There's no way in hell I'm paying 600 quid for a 3060 Ti, that's a 50% price hike - I really hope that is a mistake.
@neepheid will an msi 3070 ventus 2x fit? There's someone on another forum about to sell one new (2nd hand) who is happy to be put in touch with you. (and hurry up and make five more posts so you can send/receive PM!!)

Thanks for the thought but no, those cards are a wee bit too long. For reference, my case is a Jonsbo T8 - the maximum length the card can be is 210mm. And that's absolute max - at 210mm you'll have to take the mounting bracket off and fabricate your own mounting solution. So my upgrade path is limited to 3 choices (all 3060 Ti) - EVGA XC, ASUS Dual Mini (dual fan circa 200mm) and the recently released MSI Aero ITX (single fan circa 170mm). When I say limited, choice of 3 is pretty good actually when you're being as awkward and particular as my case compels me to be

Also, I'm using a 1660 Ti at the moment which is doing fine at 1080p so I''m just going to bide my time, enjoy what I have and wait for things to calm down.

Re: No nvidia or AMD graphics for sale in UK atm ?

I keep seeing 3070's appear in Currys and Scan for around the £650 mark. The FE cards are only £469 and my friend got his 3080 preordered on launch day for £650.

So is the 3070 a good price at £650? It doesnt seem like it but I dont know. I was holding out for a 3060TI at around the £400 mark but if the 3070's are a good price, I might just get one of these instead.

Nothing is a good price atm, but £650 is not a bad price in the current market for the top end 3070 cards. s-CCL-pers are selling the same cards (even low-end 3070 ventus etc) for well over £700 which is a total rip off. The problem is the RTX3080FE is £650 (if you can find one) so do the maths on where you want your money to go. Personally I'd want a low-end 3080 with decent cooling at say £800 than a 3070 at £700 but a bird in the hand....

I dont need anything highend really, I will only be gaming on 2 1080p monitors. Its a work machine that i can use daily to do office/programing work,

I was looking at the 3060TI and saw the 3060 is coming soon. So might hold out for a 3060 FE.

I'm not sure there is going to be a 3060FE, only partner cards.

personally I'd try and hold out for another 2-3 months, I know it's a while but currently that's the sort of time scale we're looking at until prices settle down (hopefully)

Re: No nvidia or AMD graphics for sale in UK atm ?

If anyone is interested in the Aorus Master 3070:
    1) I've just cancelled my pre-order with ebuyer and in doing so was told it had arrived with them today and was ready for shipping to arrive by Monday. If that's of interest to anyone be hawking the site as who knows when they'll re-list it.
    2) Scan have also released a couple of them over the course of this week too, and at a better price. One imagines they will do so again next week assuming more come in alongside their expected shipment of 3080s listed for some time w/c 15th. Hawk the discord feeds and be ready to swoop.
