I have this card paired with a 2600 and it works great for 4K60 gaming and Quest 2 VR. The problem is getting your hands on one of course... If you're not a fan of signing up to every stock alert service under the sun and sitting at your computer hitting F5 on the Nvidia homepage then the best thing to do right now might be to just enjoy your Series X and check back in later in the year. I can't even suggest getting a stop gap for now because you can see everything, even second hand rubbish GPUs from years ago, is selling for double what you might expect.
