GPU Vertical mount

Who has there GPU vertically mounted. Also besides the way it looks hows the temperatures.

I have had a few GPUs vertical mounted in builds I have sold... It totally depends on the case, don't use a case with a included bracket that goes right upto the glass planel like the DKD3 does, even with mesh front they can get too hot. If your GPU has good temperatures then you can get away with it but not always..... I have had the best results with mesh ATX cases and then buying a GPU bracket online or from China, make sure your case can have the PCIE covers removed completely or you will need to mod the case.... The new lian li o11 case has a interesting GPU mount I recommend looking at that on YouTube

Someone once told me that some heatpipe tech cares about its orientation and doesn't necessarily work vertically. I challenged them on it and they dug out a link that seemed to back it up, but I can't find either now. No idea how much of a niche thing it was vs today's products. Enough people say they do it that enough cards out there are presumably ok to mount that way.

i have had a vertically mounted GPU. Mounting GPUs vertically seems like a good idea. Due to the fact that you can view your graphics card's cooler, which is often distinctive in appearance.

Vertical mounts are fine as long you don't push your card fans to close to glass/side of the case. Difference is negligible in most cases. I would advise you to do a little bit ofresearch about your particular case and then pull the trigger
