    Post HL2 and v-sync

Ok so i downloaded catalyst 5.4 and hl2 is still crashing when i get to the 1st loading screen. (getting the memory could not read error) (was getting this with catalyst 5.3 too)

This is running in 1280x1024,x4 AA + x8 AF @85hz wit v-sync on

The games doesnt crash with v-sync off?

I went back to catalyst 4.12 again and it runs perfectly fine with v-sync on/off?

    Why is this?

    Wink

It's ok now, i got it sorted.

I used 'Driver Cleaner 3' and then re-installed catalyst 5.4 CCC

    HL2 run perfectly fine now, v-sync on/off
