Should I sell or keep dell 2405fpw?

For some reason now around a week after mine arrived... considered selling it to get a normal 20in dell tft...

Its a pure beaut of a monitor, definitely, features are sex, performance is great...

Just wondering about the cash situation really. I'm not ultimately in need of cash, but I think the 2001fp at 385 quid compared to the price of a 2405fpw... that would give me some money to play with for sommat else hehe...

From my understanding, the 2001FP is 1600x1200, 2405FPW is 1920x1200 so their height is essentially the same just a wider viewing space for the 24 incher

I do love dvd's on the screen, but I don't think there will be too much difference on a non-widescreen!

I need some pro's and cons

Will also be using a ps2 on the monitor... Is the output from the ps2 gonna look better on the 20in or the 24?

    Cheers

Personally I am getting a 2405 for the dual role it will provide with my Xbox [HD enabled] and in the near future a telly tuner for my PC in bedroom,

If you merely want a monitor for PC tasks and the odd DVD then the 20" is a better and more cost effective purchase

only if the PS2 outputs widescreen highdef, which it doesn't to my knowledge, much better with an HD enable xbox

and just because the pixels at 1200 dosent necessarily mean they would be the same height - my 17" Laptop is 1920x1200 - just means you would get the same amount of stuff on the screen height wise.

Keep the 2405. You've got it, you might as well enjoy it - to hell with the money...

Money is always an issue... especially as a post-grad without a student loan
(£15k of debt isn't too healthy)

What it now essentially boils down to is whether the output from a ps2 will look as good on the 2001fp (have heard the 24in is quite beaut for it)

Ahhhh, thinking about it all day... My darling and I will be parting company. I keep getting £ signs in my eyes...
As soon as I get a buyer, my 2001FP will be on its way!

Which colour is nicer btw, dual tone or midnight grey? I have a shuttle (silver) black speakers, and black kb and mouse
