Question X800XL vs X850 ... How do they bench?

Heard all this bout the X800XL aparently they are the x850 with a cheaper price?this cant be right obviously,so how do they bench against a x850 (all models...) and what differences are there between them? and why was the xl made? is it a budget 850?

    cheers

16 pipes like the x850xt but slower memory & core clock speeds. It was made to compete with the 6800gt since the earlier x800pro wasn't quite up to the job.

The chip used on the X800XL is a different process as well. In the vast majority of cases they will not oc to X850 speeds.

x800XL, cheaper than the 6800gt and faster.
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.
