    Confused, which monitor?

I've read loads of reviews about LCD monitors and I'm really confused which one to go for.
It's going to be used for games but I can't spend more than £350 on it, a 19" monitor sounds good too.
Looked at some of the samsung and sony one's and am really impressed, any ideas on which one to go for?

I know you said £350, but if you can stretch to £385, you can get a Dell 20.1" TFT which does 1600x1200 and they're gorgous

What do you want it for? Gaming? Graphics? How important are looks/styling?

The dell 20in is indeed a good option for the price
Although a 19in Viewsonic VX912 is 100 quid cheaper at 280 - leaves you with a bit extra to spend on something nice. For gaming and general use, the vx912 is supposed to be excellent! (was gonna go for this before my 24in dell arrived)

Hyundai ImageQuest L90D+ is well under £350 now. Built for gaming. I watch TV and DVD's on mine and it's pretty good.

It's mainly for gaming, i've been looking round, the Dell Ultrasharp 2001FP looks really nice, what's their policy on dead pixels?
I've had a look at some of the new sony monitors, especailly the SDM-HS95P, i've found it for £410, is it worth the money?
I've got a radeon 9700 pro, would I have to upgrade that to get the best out of the sony? it's got a dvi connection on it.

    Cheers guys

Its about 5, but, you can send it back and get a replacement regardless within 7 days. All Dells monitors are cheaked before they are sent and the worst i have heard is a pixel that wont display true blue.
