I've been having a look around but without much real success. Can anyone point me in the direction of a decent but cheap widescreen TFT? I'm not a big gamer so i don't need an 8ms response time or anything.

Try Aria, they often have the best prices in the UK ;)
Don't know if you'll have much luck with a cheap widescreen TBH.
For non widescreen, try aria as said before.
What do you mean by cheap? How much!?
