    Best card at around £200?

So guys (and gals) Whats the best graphics card for about £200 (it must have dvi)
    So far i have found:
    6800GTO £200
    x800xt £210
    x800xl £200

Or is it woth £260 for an x850xt pe.
It will be with an amd 64 3700+ san or an 3800+ venice (at the mo i think 3700)

Go for it, it's a wicked fast GPU, and seeing as the rest of the PC will rock, might as well.

am i right in saying its the cheaper on that has the more cache?

if so im sure in games the extra cache would roughly equal the extra mhz. in which case i'd go for the cheapest and overclock so you still use the extra cache

ps. avoid the GTO as a mate has it and its barely better than my 6800 vanilla, id go ati prob x800xt/xl

X800XT is the fastest card there but does not beat the X800XL by much. I'd say if you are not worried about the price get the X850 XT PE. It will last you the longest since it's the newest. If you want bang for the buck it's hard to beat an X800XL unless you get a heck of a deal. But then you could get an X800XL for a great deal also, so...

They're all so close it's highly unlikely it will ever be of any consequence. And ALL of the 16 pipe ATI cards are wicked fast.

But the x800xt is the best card there? So, I should get that and not the x800xl?
Dual core is supposed to be the future but i think the 3800+ will last for a goood while, as the software catches up *until unreal3 *

I just ordered my X800XT for £197 with a power adapter delivered from scan, which is the best you can do for £200...and get the 3700+ San Diego with the extra cache

Well at stock the Venice is slighty better, but then it's more expensive, and has a 200mhz increase.

If you o/c em both, the SD will come out better, it's a better chip in my view, and lots of other people are saying the same thing. The 1mb L2 is nice to have, and the chip is 30-40quid cheaper.
