Just wondering, as I just thought to reenable it on my own PC.
On my old TFT (Viewsonic VP201mb) it made next to no difference, because you couldn't make out the subpixels. The construction meant that each pixel blended together the R/G/B subpixels to show a single pixel of whatever colour.
But on this Dell 2405, the subpixels are easily distinguishable. So enabling ClearType makes a huuuuuge difference. Some small, jaggy fonts are transformed into smoother, clearer text by turning it on.
Do you find it's worth using?
