Has anybody any idea what the difference between the 128MB and the 256MB X800 graphics cards is performance wise?
Depends on the game, many new games need 256mb, i think the new starwars does.
What cards were you looking at?
A 256Mb card is only any good for playing games at higher resolutions. There's very little performance different in lower resolutions.
If you prefer to play in 1024x768 or less then just stick with the 128mb.
jsut get 256, few quid extra, then u wont feel pissed off when u wanna play in high resolution. Cause lets be honest here. Would be a bit dumb to buy a new card then play in 1024 :D
