    Radeon X300

Are they crap or will it be enough to play Doom3 @ 10x8 on medium with decent framerates?

I did but couldn't find any benchmarks for the X300 @ 10x8 on medium with decent framerates.

That's the reason why I posted in the first place.

If you want to play Doom 3, do not buy a videocard based on the x300 unless you like playing a graphically beautiful game at 640x480 and low graphical quality.
If i can find it, i'm sure you can
