    Question Best 6800 Ultra brand?

    Hi guys,

Which of the following brands do you consider to be the best? Money isn't really an object here:

    XFX - http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=131946

    AOpen Aeolus - http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=175939

    Leadtek WinFast - http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=184100

    Asus - http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=189084

    MSI - http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=196726

I can't work out why AOpen are charging so much more for their card. Have they OC'd the RAM? IF so, is it better quality RAM than the others? Otherwise, might as well buy one of the cheaper ones and ramp it up myself.

Additionally, how well will a 550W PSU cope with two 6800 Ultras running in SLi mode, with an AMD64 FX-55, 2 HDs and a DVD-RW attached to the same PSU?

Have to say been really impressed by my Gainward 2600 Golden Sample. 450/1200 clocks without pushing at all and stays cool. Tad expensive though.

Not on there, and rightly so after their recent messups.

I was given the list by a friend. He's trying to source as many bits as he can from Scan to consolidate delivery costs, so I'm guessing if he didnt specify gainward then Scan don't sell them. I haven't checked myself though.

I've got 3 XFX 6800GT cards and I'm extremely happy with their performance and ability to run @ 550/1100 with NO artifacts and with some space for even more pushing.
