Dell E193FP TFT - Good for gaming?

I have a Dell E193FP TFT sitting at home, still boxed and a friend is interested in buying it.

He wants to use it for gaming.

Is this screen good for gaming? It has a 16ms response time, but you can't always go by that...

I don't want to sell it to him if it's not going to be good enough.

    Thanks
    Chez

PS - he doesn't live near me and I don't want to open it to test if he isn't going to buy it.

    Which One

I have been looking at this tft on aria recently and i am very tempted, however i have also been looking at the Dell 1905, which is a little bit more, however the slower responce time (20ms) does put me off slightly. I'm unsure as to the responce time to the E193FP, but i thought it was 20ms also apposed to 16ms?

The aria tft's (Arianet/Digimate) boast 16ms response time for there 19" models, would i be better off buying one of these, and save myself some money, or fork out more for either of the Dell's (E193FP, 1905). Are the Dell's worth the extra cash?

I will mostly be using it for gaming, 3d modelling.

Yes, definately the Dells are worth it compared to the Digimate ones.

The response times vary from one manufacturer to the other, I would suggest buying an LG one, they really are brilliant screens.

Also Viewsonic are good, LG and Viewsonic are the best monitors by a mile.
