Yes they are mad. :p
bonkers. How long before someone asks "I wonder if they'll make a board for four dual GPU cards?" :D
The cards for that beast would cost more than my entire system. Can you say "CPU limited?"
would be better with two 6800gt
What you need is 4 dual GPU cards
Yeah, but it's a P4 board! WTF!
If they can figure out how to hook an NForce-4 AMD chipset to the NForce-4 Intel edition to act as a southbridge, surely they could have just used the NForce4-Pro 2200 and 2050 and taken 8 PCI-E lanes from each.
I am liking it... can't wait
cant wait to see UT2007 on that setup
hehe
Barney
lol, yeah might meet the min requirements this one!! maybe with 4x 512mb ultras in there, a snip at £2k :devilish:Quote:

I'm sure they'll have AMD 64 versions if they are serious, but they may not come along until Gigabyte confirms that people will be interested in such a beast.
Pretty smart of nVidia. Now, everytime one of those crazy motherboards sells they are almost certain to sell 4 highend videocards.
RAEV (Redundant Array of Expensive Videocards) is born.
I think it is also a technology statement and something which the press will talk about
A lot of these companies have showcase products in order to deliver stuff for the press to talk about - meaning 6200 or X300 is not exactly 'sexy'
