Man this driver - or something else makes my GTA:SA crash ALL THE TIME - but no other game. So I went back down to Omega 5.1's and its done the job. Lol so yea, it was the drivers. But it removes the flickering shadows i get on BF2![]()
Can you be more specific about what the issue is and I will see if it is a 'known' issue ?Originally Posted by dangerous_dom

By a country mile !
We now release WHQL certified drivers every month
That means that every 30 odd days, ATI customers get a combination of :-
- More Stability
- More Features
- More Performance
If you're really lucky... all 3 in the same month !

There was an issue on one of the planets (if I remember correctly) where the game slowed down if you entered buildingsOriginally Posted by Smokey21
As far as I know that was fixed about 3-4 drivers back
If anyone has that issue and can let me know what you do to replicate it (please include major hardware/OS etc), then I will see if it has been 'flagged'

This month of course resulted in (for me)
Less stability - crashes in GTA SA and tCoR:EFBB, slow loading in PF, bug still present in SWKotOR
Fewer features - due to the fact I have to use the CP as the CCC is currently a very poor piece of software and
Similar performance - Due to the inability of CP to support catalyst AI
A poor showing all round!
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.
It's still on the release notes as an "issue". Has been for the last few releases.Originally Posted by Andrzej
