    Leaked Nvidia beta driver 77.62

    Get it here:

    Read about it here:

Guru3D Forum Nvidia 77.62 beta thread

It is supposedly the driver for the 7xxx series nvidia cards but works with 6xxx series, by all reports it has improved IQ in BF2.

I am at work at the moment so can't test it for another 4 hours but already have the d/load on pen drive ready to go.

well I'm home, I have run this driver, my opinion, YES, IQ improvement.

I'd like some feedback on what others think please.

    Driver Cleaner Pro

    then install

It does look sharper, fps improved slightly, smoke no longer has such a straight line where it joins the ground, I'm impressed.

Off to do a 3Dmark05 benchie

    I will report back

Done the 3DMark05 benchies, this is definately an IQ driver, best I could do was 58xx on 05, guess I'll wait for the modded (performance) driver to appear.

Got to say the IQ is an improvement though.

try it an give me some feedback please

Not a problem fella. I'll bite the bullet tonight as soon as I get in and see if they improve SLI performance as well

Before you do, I have problems with this driver with video play back, ultra brightness on the screen, if you try to alter the brightness the colours go all weird and green. It runs good in BF2 but has some issues elsewhere.

I'm going back to the 77.50, kinda disappointed because the IQ was great, hopefully the full release will have this fixed, after all this is a leaked beta, so I can't expect it to be perfect can I.
