    How do you benchmark farcry?

    I wish to test my system using this game but I cannot find a timedemo anywhere, where is it hidden?
    Main Rig: i2600k@4.3Ghz/ASUS P8P67 PRO/MSi GTX580/16GB Mushkin/HAF X/Noctua NH-D14

    You need to record a demo of your own and play that back.

    Say you've recorded a demo on the Pier level, named wedge22, you'd want to do something like this:

    Code:
    farcry.exe -DEVMODE "demo_num_runs 0" "map Pier" "demo wedge22" "demo_quit 1"
    Then you'd look in Levels\Pier\wedge22.log for the Average FPS line for the result.

    there is actually a far cry proper test out there. google it, or guru3d.com probly have it.

    You can download The Tech Report's demos with the links on this page:

    http://www.techreport.com/reviews/20...x/index.x?pg=4

    That way you can compare your cores with theirs I guess.
