Strong GPU is hit out , 7800GTX appears , the core of this display card, really do the greater, see in the future channelling into 90 endure metric system after the Cheng , can narrow its volume .

Single a 7800GTX, power consumptive 169W of awaiting the opportune moment of the whole platform

Full-speed operation, the power consumptive hurricane reaches 291W, in fact in the course of testing, broken 300W of hurricane for a time .

291W! Jebus Christ. I hope something has been changed in translation .

Probably cost around £400 here when first released.

I personally think the next-gen consoles will be more powerful.

And isn't the heatsink design the nicest looking nVidia have come up with for a while? Lol

What were you hoping? The card has 8 pipes more than the previous gen, as well as only 2 vertex shaders more, and slighty higher clocks speeds. I for one wasn't expecting much with these specs.

Don't expect a increase like the 5900 series to 6800 and 9800 to X800 cause that was a one off.

9000 is a very good score if you ask me. The system is most likely stock with no tweaks/optimizations. The fastest single card is the x850xtpe, and it gets what 6500 max at stock with the fastest CPU's. That a nice increase.

    Thanks sxs112, very nice post.

These guys don't realize what they're looking at I think. The new nVidia cards look very promising and the gains are obviously substantial.

If all you guys do is game then you should stick to your X-Boxes and Play Stations.

if people just game, why stick with shabby consoles when pc gaming is 100 times better? its obvious that the main purpose of tehse gpu is to play GAMES, what else would u use a Top of the range card besides games?

They are huge, power hungry, hot and gonna cost a bomb....

Why can't GPU manufacters concentrate on making cooler running cores or evem dual core GPUs rather than make the cards bigger and heatsinks bigger....

If thats the case, then for SLI you will need two very decent PSU's in your PC...

Because cooler running cards mean slower cards if all else is equal.
