LG or Viewsonic?

Out of these two 17 inch monitors, which is best? Help please...

Viewsonic.

Hmm, not a fan of the viewsonics looks, but that extra DVI keeps making me think twice about it.

Anyone else have an opinion on this?

I have a viewsonic. They are the best TFT Manufacturers around. Get one of them :)

I'd go for VS as well.

i love my LG (L1730P) but the also considered that viewsonic.

Either way you cant go wrong.

my bro's LG is classy, can't say anything about the VS but both are decent monitors, dvi does help yes...much of a muchness really. go with what you feel more comfortable with

What does it mean by dual digital inputs on the Viewsonic. Is that dual DVI, if so why?

Yeah... I wish my vx912 had dual dvi but it has analoge + dvi instead. not really noticable esp with the nice auto image adjust which gets it perfect :)

The two vx912's I have are perfect. Image quality couldnt be better (atleast for a 6Bit-per-pixel panel).

LG are good but from what Ive seen the viewsonic are better...

My VP171s (purchased 2 years ago) is still fantastic. I'd recommend Viewsonic, especially as you can now get 4 (or is it 8?)ms monitors in the VP-series.

I was also wondering if getting the 19" version would be better, I cant really afford it, but since they will be displaying the same resolution, is it worth paying an extra £80 for the 19" model?
