how would i increase the voltage to my GFX card on the abit AN8 Motherboard,
Not sure what i am looking for. what sort of things would it say about increasing the speed as i have the uguru set.

what gfx have you got? you may find you need to change your cards bios to up the voltage, or even do a volt mod.

If it's an ATI card, you need to volt mod it, if it's nvidia, they control the voltage in the BIOS.
Increased voltage can be quite risky on some cards - it's very easy to fry them with only a little more voltage.
Gainward 6800GT Golden sample, it has some issues with the recomended clock speed, so if i pump the volt very slightly maybe this will over come the issue.
tbh mate on a nice card like that id be more comfortable sending it back to where you bought it if theres a warranty left.
6800GTs are one of the cards that have "issues" with higher voltages. Like they tend to die after a few months of it.
Gfx cards never have a good enough cooler on them as stock for any increase of voltage. You wont be able to send it back after doing it either.
Send the card back, phone them up and make sure they know the cause of the problem, so they look out for it when they test.
