    Digital TV tuner

    Hello, i noticed the Hauppauge DEC2000-t on overlcockers.

    It says something about 'DVB', and i was wondering if that is referring to the freeview i am thinking of (BBC's, ITV's, SKYSPORTS NEWs, E4's etc.)

    Also, if anyone can rcommend anything better go ahead, i don't really know much about TV cards/tuners.

    DVB does mean the freeview channels and they MP3 based radio (NOT DAB)

    My imagination - but don't you also need the letter after the DVB so that you know if it will deal with free channels by Satellite, Terrestrial or Cable signal ?

    generally DVB on its own means Terrestrial, lots of manufacturers ahev left it out now as the logo looks weird with a "T" tacked on after it.
