you need the WDM drivers installed but so long as you got a clean install of the latest cat drivers that's what you'll have.
I was thinking about doing a similar thing with my PS2, probably need some sort of video capture software. Have you tried the ATI Multimedia Center app? That seemed to me like a logical place to start when I get round to trying it!

I went to the ati website and its this:
Free Download - Owners of Radeon® 9000/9200/9500/9600/9700/9800 series graphics adapters,All-in-Wonder® 9800 PRO/ 9700 PRO / 9600 PRO / 9000 / VE multimedia adapters, or users who have an existing MMC 8.x installation CD have access to a free upgrade to MMC 8.8.
Buy Now - MMC 8.1 Installation CD for all Radeon® owners. This CD can be used to validate the installation of MMC 8.8.
Does this mean i gotta buy this thing!? My installation cds are in bristol at the moment so i cant get hold of them. Anyone else know how to do this?
thanks
I've just installed ati multimedia centre but it says capture driver is not loaded or enumerated even after i downloaded and installed the wdm driver from the ati website. Any ideas welcome
hmm lost me there. I'll have a shot early next week and if you've still had no joy by then I'll see what I can find out.
