19" LG L1980Q anyone got this?

The only bad thing i can find about LG is, where the dvi cable attaches it tends to stick out te back a bit too far.

Heard a couple of bad things about back lighting on the Dell Screen.

What do you think guys?

I Have the 1980Q, and it is sweet, not a dead pixel on there, colour reproduction is good, nice response times, coolest buttons ever, The DVI cable sticks out maybe an inch, but its from the back of the stand, so its not too huge a deal. And you can turn the power LED on and off in software, which is nice.

is there any chance you could measure from where the dvi sticks out to the front of the base?

I'm pushed for space you see....

One thing i've read about LG (on Ebuyer comments) is they will supply a reconditioned monitor should the new one fail within warranty

Has put me off buying their stuff.

From the front of the circular base to the back of the DVI connector is almost exactly a foot, obviously youll need a bit more space than that,but it depends where your cable is running from. Total width (incl bezel) is about 45 cm Lowest it will possibly go is 37cm to top of bezel, assuming youre not having it facing up. It also comes with all the wall mounting gear you need.

Anything else you need let me know.

The width is 45cm, as in from one side of the display to the other. the round bit itself is 26cm at its widest point.

No, from the back of the DVI connector to the front of the base is a foot, 30cm, the round bit is 26cm, as in, a parrallel to the screen would be 26cm.
