    Talking new graphics card

    Now is the time for me to buy a new Radeon 9800 Pro card, any suggestions as where to buy online? Cheers

    Seriously consider the 9800 as that is actually very close in perf and can easily o/c to PRO speeds, save yourself the top price. 9800XT is only marginally faster than the PRO but should be out soon, you should see PRO prices fall further. In fact also consider the 9700nonPRO as they are much faster than 9600PRO stock but their real strength is in their o/c'ing potential ... expect to get those pretty close to 9800PRO speeds!

    Cheers to u all. Will check out all u suggested. Also is it possible to flash the bios of a stock 9800 non pro board to the 9800 pro spec board, if so how risky is it to do ?

    Should be possible but you'd need to check the 9800 in question can actually handle 9800PRO speeds, plus you may need a BIOS specific to your manu (eg Sapphire, Crucial etc) or at least the type of RAM used (brand & ns). Have a look on Rage3D perhaps?
