Best HD connection for PC ?

Recently built a sff pc with a XFX 7800gt as the graphics card. Wanted to connect it to my HD LCD tv but was wondering what is the best method ? XFX supply a component video out adaptor but have also found a DVI - HDMI adaptor as well. The tv i hope to get has both and as i am new to the whole High Def thing was hoping on some advice on which is the best method ?
    Cheers

the HDMI would be the best, without a doubt, but if you only got one of those, no doubt you will want to keep it clear for Sky HD - so go with the component.

okay, got my stuff, my samsung tv says in the manual HD resolutions not supported while in vga mode - so basically ive wasted my money on the dsub lead - because i cant connect set it to a widescreen resolution.

Check your manual, id imagine it will probably be the same, so component will be the way to go.
