    Better off running at 1.2V IMO - several people have reported their cards died about 3 months down the line after they started running higher voltages.

    I think those people tended to have their 2d voltage set at 1.4v too, that will definately kill the card.

    Well I wouldn't risk voltage unless you can afford a new card. Frequency itself is usually pretty safe, but really easy to toast things with more volts. Heat generation is also a large problem as it increases very rapidly with voltage.
