Best AGP card for $250

Am looking to replace my old 5900 with a card that will be able to handle some of the newer games (half-life 2, far cry) and will last at least a year ( by last i mean better able to play future games) until i do an entire upgrade. my current specs are:

3 Ghz P4
1.5 Gig RAM
Asus P4P800 Deluxe
550W PS (not generic)

P.S. i also heard that the XFX 6800 GT was found somewhere at this price if anyone knows where i could find it please let me know (also what do you think about getting a card from ebay? experienced ebayer however never shopped for graphics card on ebay before, any paticular warnings besides dont buy used?) again thanks for any help! -Tony

I would have a look on www.newegg.com. I don't know much bout the prices in the US but I think you might have some trouble getting an AGP 6800gt for $250.

hmmm, this is turning out to be a little more difficult thatn i first thought...... oh well tahnks for the help and any morew suggestions would be fine!
