    Question ATI 9550 for gaming?

A friend of mine is after a new card to replace the old 32mb sdr ati card that he currently has.

He wants to start playing guild wars, would a Connect3D ATI Radeon 9550 256MB DDR TV-Out/DVI retail for £45 be enough to play the game smoothly?

He has a P4 with 1GB memory in the system

    Thanks

It'll be tolerable, but not brilliant. I would get a refurbished 9700 Pro from here, it'll be much faster:

There's no point having 256MB of memory on a 9550, it doesn't have the power to take advantage of it.
