Lo all,
I've got a Shuttle SB51G in black. Now currently I've got a GeForce 4 Ti4800SE gfx card which I bought a while back. Time has come to upgrade, what options do I have?
Current relevant PC spec:
P4 2.26ghz
768 PC2700 RAM
I don't have that much money to spend, although if a good offer does come about I could be tempted. I was thinking around the £100 - £120 bracket, and I am not afraid to buy 2nd hand.

You would be only able to go up to AGP? Im pritty sure...
Umm imo i wouldnt spend any money on a AGP card. In Australia there are no more medium range AGP cards left. i will not pay $400 + for an outdated standard.

If your willing to sell your old CPU you could buy a 2.8Northwood core processor taking the total cost to about £110ish
You can easily find used 6600GT AGP for £100 or even (altough I'm not sure) buy a new one on sale for £120.

With regards to RAM, would I be better to stick with PC2700? I was told it suits the shuttle better...?
I would expect PC2700 is at least good enough to match the fsb of your system, but I don't know the numbers to be sure.
I'd spend the whole wack on a good 2nd hand gfx card. You should be able to get a 6800 no problem.
Get an X800GT i'm sure they retail for about the 100 mark and can be easily soft modded to open up the extra pipes.
Are there any guides how to softmod??
