6800GT wont render dx 8 and 9, any ideas?

My 6800GT wont render direct x 8 and 9 at all, all I get is green blobs and lines... anyone any ideas?

What games are you running to show this?
Try updating your drivers..

This was in DXDIAG it wouldnt actually render anything in games, I formatted my HDD and the problem seems to have gone. I hope I dont have to replace this card right now as ive just had t replace an RMA'd mobo...
