Yeah that's the one which offers the lovelly M2 tube with SuperBright mode, right? Top class (but pricey). When looking to buy you should pay attention to refresh rates at the diff res and also consider which flat screen technology to go for. They're Aperture Grill (aka Trini/Diamondtron) or Shadow Mask. SM is cheaper and doesn't have the (2) faint horizontal lines of AG (few notice them, esp when not on light backgrounds) ... I think the other pros and cons weigh each other out.

Think I paid £270 for it about 4 months back, which is a little high for a CRT monitor but you get what you pay for. Very high refresh rates on it though 160@1024 and 120@1280X1024 which is the res I use it in.

I've got the Diamond Pro 930 SB and it's super high quality just the same as the iiyama 454 pro afaik apart from it doesn't have that crappy hub and speakers on it.

Why is the hub crappy? I happen think it's a very useful feature, saved me having to buy a seperate hub.

Both the Diamond Pro 930SB & the Iiyama 454 are roughly the same price approx. £270.
A Diamond Plus 93SB will be about £205 but isn't as good.

My vote goes for the 454 Pro.

Couldn't agree more. I also have a 19" Iiyama Vision Master 1451, got it for £128 at eBuyer.

    Bargain, bargain, bargain.

Crisp picture, lovely and bright, no crap edges on the piccy, nice refresh rate, rock steady at 1600x1200.

If you want a good, cheap 19" CRT, this would be top of my list.

depends on your budget really. if you can afford it maybe go for the Lacie 19'' blue, i use the Lacie 22'' myself. they use a tweaked Mits tube. or like these guys said get a cheap Iiyama or second hand Sony E400
