    7800GT Artifact Issue

I replaced my 7800gt HSF with a watercooling one. Fitted it fine and installed it into my pc. I ran it for about 10 mins, then realised that my pump was failing. The waterwas hardly going round. I had to resort back to air cooling. I refitted the stock HSF and now when I start it I get artifacts straight away, even in the bios. Is it knackered or fixable???

Have you got the thermal compound between the HSF and GPU? and is it all back on properly (does it wiggle at all?)

ripping the stock heat sink off already voids warranty.. sticking it back again wont make a difference.. and there are pletny of Scan ppl hanging around HEXUS, so I suggest you don't try any brave lie attempts... ehehe

Looks like some kind of mosfet to me, I doubt a very minor chip on it would hurt it.

Gonna need the numbers off of it, if any, to find a useable repalcement if it is bad.
