Any Mitsubishi one
I second that.
iiyama 454 VM Pro without a doubt
Guess what I own

Yeah that's the one which offers the lovelly M2 tube with SuperBright mode, right? Top class (but pricey). When looking to buy you should pay attention to refresh rates at the diff res and also consider which flat screen technology to go for. They're Aperture Grill (aka Trini/Diamondtron) or Shadow Mask. SM is cheaper and doesn't have the (2) faint horizontal lines of AG (few notice them, esp when not on light backgrounds) ... I think the other pros and cons weigh each other out.Originally posted by Trash Man

Think I paid £270 for it about 4 months back, which is a little high for a CRT monitor but you get what you pay for. Very high refresh rates on it though 160@1024 and 120@1280X1024 which is the res I use it in.Originally posted by Austin

Been lookin at the Mitsubishi Diamond Plus 930 SB, £200 from microland what do you reckon? Didnt really want to spend much more than £200 if I could help it, cheers for the responses though.
Consider a second hand Dell Trinitron. U can pick these up cheap and they are fantastic.
I have an iiyama VM 1451, which is damned good quality for >£120
I've got the Diamond Pro 930 SB and it's super high quality just the same as the iiyama 454 pro afaik apart from it doesn't have that crappy hub and speakers on it.
Why is the hub crappy? I happen think it's a very useful feature, saved me having to buy a seperate hub.Originally posted by KeZZeR

I have the Diamond Pro 930SB as well and it is very nice.
m0.
Think I will be goin for the Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 930SB, Ive read a couple of reviews on it and judging by what u guys have to say it sound v good, although the iiyama sounds excellent also, just a bit above my price range though. Cheers guys, much appreciated.
Both the Diamond Pro 930SB & the Iiyama 454 are roughly the same price approx. £270.
A Diamond Plus 93SB will be about £205 but isn't as good.
My vote goes for the 454 Pro.
Couldn't agree more. I also have a 19" Iiyama Vision Master 1451, got it for £128 at eBuyer.Originally posted by Theo

Bargain, bargain, bargain.
Crisp picture, lovely and bright, no crap edges on the piccy, nice refresh rate, rock steady at 1600x1200.
If you want a good, cheap 19" CRT, this would be top of my list.
depends on your budget really. if you can afford it maybe go for the Lacie 19'' blue, i use the Lacie 22'' myself. they use a tweaked Mits tube. or like these guys said get a cheap Iiyama or second hand Sony E400
