    Possable to flash 6600gt to differnt bios ?

    Hi

    Just a quick question would it be ok to flash a sparkle 6600gt with a MSI 6600gt bios both core and ram are same speeds etc on both cards ?

    I dont see why it wouldnt be possible, but why would you do it if both are at the same speeds?

    because i want to use in spare pc as SLI and im sure it would need same bios on both cards ?

    use forceware 80.xx an u wont have to worry about the above

    so the cards only need identical chipset? don't need to actually be the same brand/card implementation?

    nice.

    are places going to rebenchmark sli cards at some point - if the drivers keep improving then surely we'd see some speed increases due to the software based part of the technology?

    They would in an ideal world, but taking benchies is a very time-consuming prcess, so I'd imageine most will simply use the new drivers in any new reviews and let you interpolate the results to the less common cards.
