7800GT BIOS Flash Help?

Hi this question has probably been asked and answered before. But i have just brought myself a BFG GeForce 7800GT OC and i was just if the BIOS could be flashed to a 7800GTX, therefore opening the 20 Pixel pipelines to 24 and the 7 vertex shaders to 8?

I doubt it can be done cause there would be more hype about it.
