Yeah I thought I remembered from somewhere that 2.2mbps is the top speed of the 24mbit ADSL2+ connection. Well, I heard, can't back that up or anything

adsl2 juist loses bandwidth really fast, so u need to be close to the exchange, im like 3 miles lol

Too bad you dont live there;)

As mentioned in another reply,ADSL performance drops off fast with distance from the nearest repeater point,Im about 2kms from one here.
I get a constant 13Mbps....$30 a month for unlimited use.
