    weird pixel problem

I dont know if i have a dead pixel... a stuck pixel... or what

but i noticed when using grey backgrounds that there is one pixel that is bright red, it is the same in greys on any program, and it shows up on some tones of colour, but running dead pixel buddy, cycling through the colours it was only noticable on the red colour (shined brighter)

it goes away when the colour is solid black, green, yellow, blue

its at a very noticable viewing area

any idea what this problem is? or a solution?

    monitor is a Dell 2407fwp 04 version

its appeared one day outside of my 30 day return period too and definitely has not been there since i got it

i was perhaps a bit hastey, its there on a few other colours just very faint, might have to try rubbing it, as a few hours of flashing colours hasn't done a thing ;(

There is a program you can download that can fix stuck pixels, it changes the colours extremely rapidly and sometimes can loosen stuck pixels. just cant remember the name of it right now. Wont do anything for dead pixels tho.

i've flashed it for a few hours now, still nothing, its not dead though i dont think or i'd see it clearly on white and black

annoying after paying all that money even if it is just one little bit stuck there

I believe Dell have a zero stuck / dead pixel policy, so you should be able to get a replacement if need be.
