i'm aware of the slight difference in clock speeds between this and the xfx but there's nearly a 50 quid difference between the two....surely it only gets 1 or 2 extra fps ?

there aint a mega difference i dont think. Probably around 6-10fps if that. U wont be dissapointed wich ever u buy. Its a no loose situation (TM me). Just get wich ever your budget will allow

I'm not sure what the successrates are like for the different 7800GT cards but I managed to get both my freinds and my Gigabyte 7800GTs to unlock the extra 4 pipeline and 1 vertex shader plus overclock them to 465/1180 - 24/7 stable without artifacts.

Might be worth asking around to see how many people have those cards have have tried unlocking them to GTX specs.

Do overclockers.co.uk give good service thease days?

I got good service from them about four years ago when I broght a complete system, but more recently I have receved such bad service from them, that resolved never to buy anything from them again.

Cheers Buff id not explained that very well.
From what i have read on various messge boards BFG seem to be very quick at replying to emails and the advice given actually seems to relate to the individual problem as opposed to some monkey reading generic faults for beginners. I have never bought anything of OC.co.uk I was tempted to get the gto2 from them but MD had it so i got it from there instead. OC.co.uk dont seem to be held in too high a regard round here......
