    Go6800 Massively Under Performing?

I have an MV Ixius laptop, 1 gig DDR 2, p4 3.2, go6800 256 meg (non ultra)...in 3d mark 03 I get a score of 6160....the card seems to default to clocks of 250 core /600 memory...to me this score seems around 3000-4000 lower than it should be, am I right? has anybody got any suggestions on how I could fix this? I'm on an almost clean format, with unnecssary services disabled etc.. no excessive background tasks, just AVG anti virus...

Well, my 6600gt gets 7442 in 3d03 when clocked to 585/1200, and from what i have seen in other laptops, the parts are severly underclocked.. so its not tooo bad.. But you have to remember that laptops dont perform like desktops, also, are you plugged into the wall?

That score looks right for a mobile 6800 to me.
