    Video across Dual displays.

Id quite like to get another display the same as i have atm.
but i thought seeing as id have like 38" of desktop space it would be nice to span my vids across both displays.

Now i had a quick look through the Nvidia setup properties but couldnt find a thing about this.
i expect i just didnt look close enough.

I plugged in my tv and set my desktop to span across both screens but when you full screen a vid i only comes up on one

Any one know what todo? because i dont want to spend cash on a second screen if i cant do this!

    Cheers dudes!

I'm not that sure if ultramon actually spreads a video across both desktops. If you have two monitors or more, you should definately be using it, it adds lots of very usefull features, but, I'm not sure it'll do what you want as far as video stretching goes.

This is to do with overlay. Video of that resolution is actually a very CPU intensive task.

Not only do you not normally want to spread it (as you have the black line between screens) but its quite difficult programatically to.

If its different video on each, thats not so much of a problem, but shockingly CPU intensive.

You can span video on the display across both screens, it's all done in hardware on the GPU so isn't CPU intensive at all.
