    9800 pro, 3rd party cooling

    Hi guys.

    I've overclocked my 9800 pro a few times, but am wanting to stretch it a bit more. I'm using the stock heatsink fan at the moment and am looking at getting something a bit better. The best thing I can find out at the moment is this;
    http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatal...c_Cooling.html
    (Arctic Cooling Rev.2 ATI 1 (9700/9800) VGA Silencer (HS-002-AR))

    Can anyone find anything better? Has anyone got this - how is it?

    I've also bought some thermal paste for my CPU.. I should put some on the GPU too right? (once I got the new heatsink/fan)

    I have the 128mb version of the 9800 pro. GPU is R350.

    Thank yee .

    Hi there.

    The Artic Silencer is a fine cooler. May I ask what case you have?

    Is the thermalpaste Artc Silver 5? Then it will work on the GPU.

    Personally I would go for the Zalman GPU cooler

    http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatal...of_Zalman.html

    It cools better and you can use it on future GPU's aswell!

    Good luck.

    Cool. Thanks. Is the arctic silver stuff better than that white thermal grease then?
