    Cooling a Nvidia FX5200

Hello, I was given an FX5200 Graphics Card recently. Old card I know, but it is only for a little Shuttle PC I am gonig to use. The fan on it is whirring and awfully noisy.

Does anyone have any ideas? Or would it be cheaper just to get another graphics card. All I want is a DVI output, so I can connect it to a Samsung LCD HDMI input. (with DVI to HDMI cable)

no point buying a 3rd party cooler for something as skimp as a 5200..

You could just dish out £30 and get a 9550.. they're small and runs pretty cool. These have DVI outputs..

Cheers for the advice, I'll have a gander at Scan for a cheapo graphics card with DVI.

Maybe I should splash out and get a VIVO card, so I can record off the tele...

You need AIW or a tv tuner for that..

Scan sells 9600 AIW if I remember correctly..
