    Cheap AGP card?

    Hi,
I've been given the task of finding a new graphics card for my brother-in-law.
He's got a P4 2.4 (the 100mhz bus one) but a real cheap ATI 7000 graphics card, so he needs something more moden by has a limit of only £80.

Any suggestions where I should be looking for him, I was thinking either a 6600 (non-GT) or an X700, but I don't know whether these would be a bit much for the rest of the PC specs.

Have a look at retek - 9800 pro's for £66 and 9700pro's for just over £40. Definitely better value than most new cards.

Thanks for the replies guys, he does want to play games occasionally, but definatly not a hardcore gamer, £80 is the absolute limit, even that is pushing it a little, obviously if the 9800 suggested by kushtibari is better than a new 6600 at £80 then that's better.
How do the older 9800's and 9700's compare to the newer 6600 and X700 cards?

You'll get better value buying second-hand, but little/no warranty if anything goes wrong...
