Hey All,
I was thinking of getting this card for a workstation machine but was wondeirng what the gaming perf would be like.
Im not looking for too much really (no AA or AF) and have heard it is better than the GF3 ti500s.
Also, how much better than the 8700 is this?

:( Not too sure about these pro OpenGL cards but I should think you're around the speed and capabilities of a Rad8500 which is certainly as good as GF3TI500 in 3D and way better at everything outside of 3D. On Rad8500 AA was pathetic but AF was very fast and well worth using. Worth checking 100% before you buy though, I take it you can get a good price?
the 8800 is a CAD graphics card and is pants for games
;) So it can't be modded to perform as a Rad8500(ish) then? Ah well, it is best to stick to the known gaming cards esp with price to perf being so cheap. Where'd all the 4200 suddenly disappear to though?
