    Can't run certain games

I have trouble running certain games on my computer. I think the problem is openGL-related.

    WinXP
    Updated directx
    2.4 GHz pent 4
    512 ram

Games that can't run: Homeworld 2 and Soldier of Fortune 2

They stopped running after my ATi Radeon card (9700 pro) overheated and stopped working correctly and I replaced it with an identical card. I tried full system reinstall, tried modified drivers for ATi rad, nothing seems to work.

No. The screen just goes black (and makes resolution changing sound) and then goes back to desktop as if nothing had happened.

Do you used Catalyst Uninstaller for uninstalling the drivers, then reboot, install the latest drivers (5.11), preferably wothout the sluggisch control center and with the Control Panel end then reboot again. Should do the trick.

Where is the Catalyst Uninstaller? Also, are you sure this will work? I already tried reinstalling WinXP and installing the 4.whatever catalyst and it changed nothing.
