Heh, that's one of Gary Donovan's collection. I was hopeful of buying that board from him at some point, so I'm gutted to see it on eBay!

I remember when i went out and bought my voodoo 5 5500, that was a sweet card.

First card ever to do FSAA, loved it.

Cost an arm and a leg to buy it though.

Edit: Does anyone else agree that those power cables that have been rewired look very dangerous??

The metal screws connecting the power cord to the card are exposed, surely this isnt safe?

Just thought if you touched them while the computer was on, youd get frazzled.

I still have one of these lying around (AGP2.0x) and a Matrox graphics card. Anyone know where I can go to find out how much these are worth, main reason I'm asking is they're collecting dush and nowadays Matrox 'video' editing graphics card are fairly expensive.

[EDIT]Buy price on ebay is $200 for a PCI version for Mac, wonder if its the same for mine?[/EDIT]

Mac and PC were the same for all of the V5 range iirc, it was just a different BIOS on them.
Its been a while though, so you might want to double check that. I know it was the case for several of 3dfx's ranges.

I still have one running in my father's computer. It's probably the coolest piece of tech i ever bought.
