Using a USA geforce in a UK comp?

Hey all, probably a really stupid question to you all! But if i buy in a gfx card from the states to save a bit of cash, will it work ok?

    Cheers!

    Kev,

Can you save a lot of money buying from overseas? I know most stuff is cheaper in the states but by the time you've paid postage, duty (?) etc. the difference is negligable.

... or do you have any good sources you can reveal? ;-)

he may be goign over there.

It may be best to just take the card in its static bag in the middle of your clothes to help avoid customs intrest.

I suggest you put it in the top of your hand luggage, so it's easy to show the security guy on your way out (he's not after your money!).

The only place you may run into troubles is with the TV-out.

Usually this can be changed in software though.

Otherwise, as others have said, no difference

Some cards have a little switch on the back of the card where you can flick through ntsc or pal, usually ati cards
